Un compañero de trabajo me envió un email com el asunto que decía: “This is why health care is expensive. Just So Ya Know”.  El email no tenía nada en el cuerpo excepto este vídeo adjunto.

No pude contenerme y esto fué lo que le contesté:

My reply probably shock you more than the video did, but just to give you an idea why my way of thinking is not appreciated around here. I rather pay for a sick “illegal immigrant” than pay a soldier’s salary.  Besides, I am sure there are some Americans getting treated at Canadian and French hospitals, where contrary from here, healthcare is free and a government’s responsibility (like it should be).  The cost of healthcare in the U.S. is probably high more because of malpractice lawsuits rather than because of treating illegal immigrants. I believe we get more from illegal immigrants than what we give them.
